Description In 1979, nine small forested watersheds were instrumented in East Texas to determine the effect of intensive forest management practices on water quantity and quality. Three replications of three treatments were used: 1) clearcutting - followed by shearing ant windrowing, 2) clearcutting - followed by roller chopping and 3) undisturbed control.
