Internationally renowned engineer who designed billions of dollars worth of dams including the Coulee, Shasta, and Boulder Dams. He assisted in the construction of numerous projects abroad including advising on and the designing of the Upper Yarra Dam and Kiewa Dam in the State of Victoria, Australia and the Ichang Dam on the Yangtze River Gorge Project.
