Description Laying the rails of the construction railroad in the Grand Coulee just south of Eagle Rock. Upon completion of the railway in June of 1935, the contractor, David H. Ryan, received $269,533.97 for his work. On Oct. 01, 1934 the MWAK Co. let a contract to Walker and Zebarth, of Los Angeles for the construction of a 11,000-volt transmission line from Coulee City to the damsite, a distance of approximately 30 miles. on Nov. 18, 1934 the line was energized.
