Title Battery of Aggregate and Cement Hoppers
 
Description Here is shown a battery of aggregate and cement hoppers on the batching floor of the MWAK mixing plant. Each is connected with an automatic scale which can be set for any desired mix. In the middle are the two cement hoppers, having a screw feed from the storage bin above. In the center is the pneumatic ram for turning the batching chute into position for the mixers below. These hoppers filled in 10 seconds and emptied their charge into the mixers in 10 seconds and emptied their charge...
Mixing plant in preparation to load 4-yard concrete batches. These are prepared for the Blaw-Knox concrete buckets Each is 8 feet thick, 70 inches in diameter and capable of carrying 125 cubic feet or 4 2/3 cubic yards of material a piece.
