Pat Hanna required her horses to be stabled neatly whilst also being safely protected. Wheatbelt Steel were engaged to design, produce and install an equestrian arena complete with provisional area for stables.
WHEATBELT STEEL’S ANSWER
A (64m x 24m x 6m) open front structural steel building with Universal Beam RSJ columns and parallel cord web trusses. Roller doors were installed to allow easy access for loading/unloading horses and feed supplies. The tapered gutters allow water catchment to be directed to one end of building and captured in large rainwater tanks.
